Haverhill 3-4 potton

A much improved performance from the boys led to a second win of the season. A blistering start and goals from Olly Young and Jed Warwick led us to lead 2-0 after eleven minutes.

Olly Young and Isaac Warwick were dominating the midfield and controlling the game with the help of Kieron Shackleton playing CDM.

Kenzie was back in goal and made several great saves to enable us to lead 2-1 at the break.

An improved Haverhill in the second half led them to scoring another two goals to lead 3=2 with less than ten minutes to play.

The boys deserve a lot of credit as they supported each other and fought and a further goal from Jed made it 3-3.

in the last few minutes Ru hit the underside of the crossbar which after a goal mouth scramble Olly Y smashed home to take the win.

Man of the Match was Olly Young.

A few weeks rest now before we play Histon away on 07th November 2020. All being well we will have a full squad of fifteen available and kick on.
