Under 10s – Boys and Girls (Aged 9-10)

The Under 10s team is for boys and girls aged 9-10 (School Year 5) from Potton and surrounding areas. This age group focuses on enhancing individual skills while improving overall team play.

Training emphasises more refined techniques in dribbling, ball control, passing accuracy, and shooting. Players also work on positional awareness, transitions between defence and attack, and communication with teammates.

Players begin to participate in more structured league fixtures and tournaments, helping to build resilience and match readiness. Coaches continue to prioritise inclusion and enjoyment while introducing more responsibility and independence on the pitch.

The Under 10s programme supports a balanced development of football ability and personal confidence, preparing young players for the step up to 9-a-side football.
