Under 8s – Boys and Girls (Aged 7-8)

The Under 8s team is for boys and girls aged 7-8 (School Year 3). At this age, players are ready to take their skills to the next level, with more structured sessions that incorporate both individual development and team play.

Training focuses on improving technical skills such as dribbling, passing, shooting, and ball control, alongside building a greater understanding of the game’s basic tactics, including positioning, teamwork, and communication on the pitch. Sessions are designed to encourage creativity, problem-solving, and a growing sense of game awareness.

Children will begin to play regular 5 -a-side matches, where they can put their skills into practice in a supportive, non-competitive environment. Our dedicated coaches foster an atmosphere of fun, sportsmanship, and teamwork, ensuring that each player feels valued and motivated to improve.

At Under 8s, the focus remains on enjoyment, skill development, and fostering a lifelong love for football, while laying the groundwork for further progression as players move through the club.
